1. Reading Italian Hallmark Symbols
The 1968–Present Italian Manufacturer Stamp
The standard manufacturer mark features a polygon cartouche containing a five-pointed star (★), followed by the factory assignment number, and the two-letter province abbreviation (e.g., ★ 1 AR indicates factory #1 in Arezzo — UnoAErre).
- 750 Lozenge: The gold purity mark (.750 = 18 Karat) stamped inside a tapered diamond-shaped lozenge.
